Commands to list Splunk components?

http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.6.3/InheritedDeployment/Confdiscovery
this document got a nice flowchart.. for a small/medium environment, we can manually check the config files.
I would like to understand if there are any Splunk commands which will list the search heads, indexers, license master etc..
Please suggest.

Not sure about the command that list all enterprise servers but DMC should be the best option. It should provide what you need and more.
