Hello
I create a dashboard but I can't configure the automatic refresh.
I put the line : refresh="30" but it doesn't work.
Can I have some help ?
Thank you.
Bruno (France)

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
<dashboard>
  <label>Nagios_dash</label>
<view>refresh="30"</view>
  <row>
    <chart>
      <searchName>Critical_Nagios</searchName>
      <title>Critical</title>
    </chart>
  </row>
</dashboard>

You're using the Simplified XML, so you want to take out the <view> and the </view> (the view tag is part of the advanced xml) and put the refresh="30" inside your <dashboard> tag, like this:

<dashboard refresh="30">

or if you use the advanced XML, it would be inside the <view> tag, which is where you got the <view> I think.

Here is a page in the documentation that talks more about <dashboard> syntax:

Is there a way to set refresh parameter based on role associated with the logged in user ..

Meaning,

if role=role1 then refresh=30
elsif role=role2 then refresh=45
else refresh=90
end if;

Is there a way to configure this auto-refresh parameter such that it gets set for a dashboard based on the role associated with login?

For example,

if role=rol1 then refresh=30
elsif role = role2 then refresh = 90
else refresh=80

Thanks for any pointers
