create dropdown list using html in a dashboard

still a newbie so needing help in creating a dropdown list using html in a splunk form.  i will be using static values.  i originally had the input dropdown and it works and would now like to know if this can be done in html.

Not sure I understand what you mean to create an input using html, but dropdown options can be populated by a search.

If you're talking about styling the input, then there is a useful Splunk app that gives some examples on playing with CSS and JS to change the styling of a dashboard. It's called the Itsy Bitsy App for Splunk
