Hi guys I have a question if I have the following default.xml

nav search_view="search" color="#800000"
view name="dash1"
view name="dash2"
a href="http://$variable$.domain.com" target="_blank">Website

How can I insert a variable in the website where it says $variable$? that variable will most likely be a static field in a file or it could be indexed.

Many Thanks
