Splunk DB Connect v1

Hi @gcusello ,

We have installed Splunk DB Connect v1 and its java  bridge is running.

Can you please guide what to do next.We are looking to  monitor oracle database.

it's long to describe the steps to configure DB connect to connect to a DB!

Anyway, you can follow the steps described at https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/DBX/3.3.1/DeployDBX/ConfigureDBConnectsettings

In few words:

  • install Oracle drivers,
  • create your identity,
  • create your database connection,
  • then create a database input to use to extract events or to pupulate a lookup.
