Simple form word wrap

I have built a simple form search per http://www.splunk.com/base/Documentation/latest/Developer/Step1CreateAForm. The results are not wrapping to the window. Is there an easy way to do this without going to the advanced XML?

No, im sorry but it looks like the simplified XML does not expose anything that would let you turn on the 'softWrap' mode.

If you were building the view(s) for your own custom app you could hardwire the simplified form search EventsViewer modules to always use the softwrap CSS, but that's really not a very good answer im afraid.

For EventsViewer module, you can fix a hard wrap by editing the following line in SPLUNK_HOME/share/splunk/search_mrsparkle/modules/results/EventsViewer.css:

Change: _white-space:nowrap;

To: _white-space:pre-line;
