Dashboards & Visualizations

Show Dashboard Tab

Hello,

I created a role with the same capability as the "user role".
What capability should I use to make the dashboard tab appear? The dashboards are viewable via Splunk Mobile App so I guess I'm just missing something here.

Much appreciated!

Can you check the navigation xml of the app you are currently in?

For e.g - It should have the entry for dashboards like below.

<nav search_view="search" color="#65A637">
    <view name="search" default="true" />
    <view name="data_models" />
    <view name="reports" />
    <view name="alerts" />
    <view name="dashboards" />
</nav>

Hello, I believe name="dashboards" is already defined by default. Tried adding all the capabilities in defining a new role and excluded "admin all objects" and I'm still getting the same result.

just an additional info similar to my question.

https://answers.splunk.com/answers/237024/why-do-standard-navigation-menu-items-disappear-on.html

My question was answered at version 6.3 but I'm already at version 6.5.1.
