Shared XML Between Dashboards

So I have a use case where I need to have the same singlevalues along the top of a dashboard. Works great, looks great, fits the need.

However, I want to make it so that it isn't going to take a chunk of code to copy/paste each time someone makes a dashboard and also to make it easier to update all existing dashboards.
Is there a way I can include XML within my XML my reference and then keep the XML in once location so it can be updated and maintained centrally?

I'm open to any suggestions or hacks or anything, I've not yet come across a way I could do this.

As far as I know, there is no facility in the current UI module system to achieve this. It certainly makes a good enhancement request though! We would have immediate use for it in the SoS app to macro-ify the search controls common to all views.
