Missing Dashboards

I had 2 custom dashboards that have now gone 'missing'.
I know that i haven't deleted them, is there any way back from this abyss?
Cheers

The best way is to maintain rolling backups of your filesystem. Splunk itself does not backup any configuration files, so if you don't have a backup, then you have lost your custom dashboards.
