Link to Fieldset in a dashboard

Hi All,

I am very new to splunk.
I have a basic dashboard which has just one Fieldset.
Below is xml for my dashboard.

My Dash

<input type="text" token="RequestId" searchWhenChanged="true"></input>


<panel>
  <title>My Title</title>
  <event>
    <title>My Event</title>
    <search>
      <query>index="myIndex" AND source = "*MySource*" OR  AND earliest = @d | transaction source startswith="copyright" | search requestid = $RequestId$</query>
      <earliest>0</earliest>
      <latest></latest>
    </search>
  </event>
</panel>

Is it possible to generate a link for the requestid fieldset so that I can pass in parameter like :
https://URl to fieldset?param1="1234" ?

Please let me know if this is possible...

I'm guessing you want have a link to the dashboard with some values passed for the RequestId textbox.

If the value that you want to pass is dynamic, your link should be like this

https://YourSplunkURL/en-US/app/yourappname/yourdashboardname?form.RequestId=1234

If the value that you want to pass is static, I suggest to use the default value for the text box. See this
