In-page drilldown from tag cloud

Based on the example given in the Splunk 6 Dashboard Example app, a click at the text displayed by Tag Cloud will direct the user to the Search page. How to make the click an in-page drilldown to another chart instead?

You would probably have to modify tagcloud.js to customise the drilldown action. See the relevant but yet-to-be-modified code snippet below.
http://dev.splunk.com/view/SP-CAAAEME explains what preventDefault() does. Can't find much on the parameters for handleDrillDown().
