How to customize the Pivot UI?

Hello All,

I am a UI developer, I wanted to use Splunk in one of my modules. To make sure the consistency of all the pages I wanted to customize the Splunk UI.

Specifically, I wanted to use **Pivot Editor** in my app. Will Splunk provide options to customize the pivot editor UI?

Or will it allow me to make changes in the pivot editor's core files? Please suggest me the better way.

Thanks

I'm not aware of any reasonable way to customize the Pivot UI right now, and getting statements about future features isn't likely to happen.

Making changes to the built JS files might technically work, but will be painful, unreliable, and get overwritten/break on upgrade.
