How to create drilldown to table on same dashboard?

I am trying to create drilldown from a pie chart to a table on same dashboard.  Is it possible ?

The Splunk Dashboard Examples app (https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1603) has an example of that.  It uses a table, but may be applicable to a pie chart. See Drilldown Elements->In-page Drilldown with Perma-Linking
