How do I use JavaScript to prompt new user to set timezone?

Hi everyone,

I would like to force the users to set the timezone information at the first login in Splunk. Is there a way to do that? I could do it via modal pop-up, but do not know how to set the user timezone in JavaScript.

Any idea?

Thanks
Karine

Hi Karine,

I am not sure on how to do this with a Java script, but you can try adding a Bulletin Messages to Splunk user group may be once or twice a month intimating new users to set the timezone information.

Let me know if this helps.
