How can a Cluster Map be utilized only using Country names (no IPs or Lat/Lon)?

I am trying to create a cluster map (never successfully been able to do this except in Adv. Dashboards course) by only using a field that contains the country name attributed to the events which are being counted.

There are no IPs or Lat/Lon in these events. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You could have a CSV based lookup that outputs a value for lat and a value for lon using the country name as the input value.

The issue would be - what location (lat/lon pair) would you return for a particular country. As I see it, the two most likely options would be to either return the location of the country's national capital city (eg http://www.csgnetwork.com/llinfotable.html), or location of the geographical centre of the country (eg https://developers.google.com/public-data/docs/canonical/countries_csv).
