Entries in navigation menu work, but no text

Using Splunk 5.0.7, I have added a new collection with 3 new views within that collection. THe new item does appear in the horizontal menu across the top, and when it's clicked on , the drop down menu does appear, and works. clicking on any of the 3 views brings it up fine. THe problem is, the the individual views don't actually show on the menu. The collection title shows up, but there are no lables for the lines for the views on the menu pull down.

Ideas?

I found the problem. I had not put proper titles in the views.
