Dashboard Panel HTML location

Hi,

I wrote a simple search and created a dashboard panel using the Create --> Dashboard Panel option available in flashTimeLine.

The dashboard panel is saved as xml file and i know its location. Again when i launch the dashboard, the dashboard loads perfectly. I have a requirement to do some style changes to the HTML that loads the dashboard. I could not find the location of the HTML file to customize it.

Where can i find the html file that loads the custom dashboard panels.

Thanks

The HTML is dynamically generated when the dashboard is loaded. However, if you want to change the look and feel of elements in your dashboard, you might be able to accomplish what you want using CSS. Each application can have its own skin, with its own look and feel. The Developing manual has some info here.

Hi, Thanks for your response. The custom dashboard panels created uses the dashboard.html template present under \splunk\search_mrsparkle\templates\view directory. Can I tell Splunk (overwrite) to use my custom template for custom dashboards panels that users create using flashTimeLine? If yes, please let me know how?

Thanks
