Creating a visualization from a table

Hello,

I used the following search to convert the Date field in the CSV so Splunk could read it. I would like to create a chart using the Date and Amount fields but am having no luck.

source="graph info-csv.csv" host="Tom1-PC" sourcetype="csv" | convert timeformat="%m/%d/%Y" mktime(Date) as numdate | reverse | table Date Amount

Any help would be appreciated.

Try something like this

source="graph info-csv.csv" host="Tom1-PC" sourcetype="csv"
| convert timeformat="%m/%d/%Y" mktime(Date) as _time
| table _time Amount

Thanks for the quick response.

It displays the data properly.

I still am unsure how to create a bar graph using the Date (_time)  and Amount fields.
