Correct directory for jQuery file for dashboards?

I want to use JQuery in Splunk Dashboards.In which directory I need to keep the JQuery files and what changes need to be done in dashboard XML? Please explain with an example. Thanks

Hi ManchitMalik,

you can find an example on the dev page here http://dev.splunk.com/view/SP-CAAAEVY
Your js will be located in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/<yourAppNameHere>/appserver/static/
Additionally install the dashboard example app https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/1603/ and have a look at the examples which are tagged with EXTENSION to learn more about this topic.
