What is the SplunkTrust?
You may have heard of the SplunkTrust, or have seen “the fez” around .conf and the Splunk Community or your local User Group. The SplunkTrust are highly active members of the Splunk Community. They are selected by their peers and Splunk staff for their assistance, expertise, and dedication in helping others.
What it takes to be a member of the SplunkTrust
SplunkTrust membership is awarded based on an individual's continuously helpful contributions to the Splunk community through Splunk Answers, Splunk Community Slack, Splunk User Groups, speaking at Splunk and industry events, and participating in other Splunk Community opportunities.
Nomination & Application
Are you a member of the Splunk Community who thrives on helping others? Or have you noticed a Community member enthusiastically helping Splunk users on a regular basis?
SplunkTrust membership is awarded based on user contributions to the Splunk community through Splunk Answers, Splunk Community Slack, speaking at Splunk and industry events, and participating in other Splunk Community opportunities.
SplunkTrust Application Qualifications
- Must be a Splunk Customer/Practitioner or Partner
- Is kind, considerate, and follows the Splunk Community Guidelines
- Must be actively involved year-round in at least one of the following areas:
Splunk Answers
- Responds/provides solutions
- Extra consideration to official Splunk Answers Community Moderators
Splunk Community Slack
- Responds to and helps users navigate Splunk and answer product questions and directs users to resources
Splunk User Groups
- Leads an official and active Splunk User Group or
- Guest speaker/active participant at multiple Splunk User Group events
Other considerations: User Group local team (i.e. sources venues, checks in attendees, promotes chapter/events, etc. but is not officially on leadership team)
Consideration also goes to those who assist the Splunk Community in other ways - speak at industry events, mentoring individuals, participating in Customer Advisory Boards, etc.

- Opportunities to engage in external Splunk advocacy
