We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Splunk Build-a-thon, our first-ever hackathon dedicated to empowering developers to create, innovate and showcase their skills on the Splunk platform. Over the past few months, we’ve seen incredible participation, creativity, and collaboration from developers worldwide.

The Journey

The hackathon brought together 1,364 participants and 1,231 submissions across four exciting tracks:

  • Track 1: App Development
Focused on building custom apps that extend Splunk’s capabilities, delivering new ways for users to visualize, monitor, and act on their data.

  • Track 2: Add-ons
Centered around integrations that bring more data sources into Splunk, empowering users to connect systems, streamline workflows, and gain end-to-end visibility.

  • Track 3: Data Management
Dedicated to tackling challenges in onboarding, organizing, and managing large-scale datasets, ensuring speed, accuracy, and scalability across environments.

  • Track 4: AI/ML
Highlighted innovative projects that applied artificial intelligence and machine learning to uncover insights, automate processes, and predict outcomes.

Participants advanced through both the idea and prototype phases, bringing their concepts to life with creativity and determination. Along the way, Splunk experts offered guidance and provided thoughtful feedback. In the end, we saw more impressive submissions each showcasing real-world impact, technical excellence and innovative thinking.

The Winners

After careful review by “45 expert judges” where every submission was reviewed by at least three judges to ensure fairness and consistency. After this thorough evaluation process, we are excited to announce the winners of each track:
