What is difference between AppDynamics and Splunk as APM tool?

AppDynamics is APM tool,it monitor JVM, .Net, PHP app server. Splunk monirot logs file. it is a log management tool.

AppD can now do things that Splunk can do (Log Analytics module), Splunk
don't compete around pure APM 😉
