Unable to connect to the SaaS controller

Hi,

 I am using SaaS Pro trial pack, My controller information is as below. I have crosse verified the account-name and account-access-key and its same as the values that i receieved in the mail on account activation.

The content of the controller-info.xml is as below

 <controller-host>69.27.44.162</controller-host>

 <controller-port>443</controller-port>

 <controller-ssl-enabled>true</controller-ssl-enabled>

I aslo tried the following for controller-host

OtherNotListed5765.saas.appdynamics.com

paid108.saas.appdynamics.com

I have installed a machine agent and when starting the machine agent with the following command i am getting error

Command

java -Dmetric.http.listener=true -jar machineagent.jar -Dappdynamics.http.proxyHost=mylanproxy -Dappdynamics.http.proxyPort=mylanproxyport

Error - log file attached.

i am able to open the controller from browser with the following url

https://paid108.saas.appdynamics.com:443/controller

https://OtherNotListed5765.saas.appdynamics.com:443/controller

but when i telnet its giving a connection timeout error

telnet OtherNotListed5765.saas.appdynamics.com 443

telent paid108.saas.appdynamics.com 443

telnet 69.27.44.162

when i set the HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY property and then try to do the telnet also i am facing the same issue

Can anyone kindly help me on this

Hi,

          Thanks for your help. I am able to connect and register a machine agent now. I used the ip of the proxy host instead of the host name. Thanks for the help.

Hi Priya,

We apologize for the issue you are seeing we see paid108 and other particular saas controller you listed which is on 4.0.1.x ui version is scheduled for controller upgrade to version which have fix for similar issue where UI is reachable and have issues in reporting data/metrics to UI, we request you to check the behavior post controller upgrade which takes few hours from now.

   Still i am not able to do a telnet but i am able to connect to the controller through the browser with the below two URLs

https://paid108.saas.appdynamics.com/controller

https://othernotlisted5765.saas.appdynamics.com/controller/

Hi Priya,

From machineagent log in this post and from other post http://community.appdynamics.com/t5/AppDynamics-Discussions/Custome-application-performance-metrics/... we could confirm that both are on same instance ip "10.144.32.97" and we see the logs from other post is latest than this log and we request you to follow our response on other post, as we see h/w data is not reporting for node under app/tier TestAgentApp/SampleTier
