Statistics stopped being collected

Hi,

For some reason, the BT's I'm interested in and currently monitoring suddenly stopped producing statistics over the weekend even though the application was generating load and even after resetting the agent

What reasons are there for statistics to stop being coillected for a BT even if the application is generating load for that BT?

Hi Nick,

We see such issues on the following cases:

- BT limit reached and the BT started falling under "'All Other traffic -<tier>" BT , this is when BT itself not appearing under Business transactions screen in controller UI

- Metric limit reached at agent level default is 5000 and restarting with max metrics with more value should help

- connectivity errors between agent and controller appserver instance 

To assist you further to find the root cause of the issue, please provide the following details:

- zipped version of logs directory from <agent_instal_dir>/logs path from jvm with agent configured and on which the afffected BT have load generate but call statistics not appearing in controller UI

- complete screenshots from controller UI (including address URL in browser) depicting the issue with BT affected in view
