Saving configuration

Hi,

I use AppDynamics Lite. 

I renamed the backends taht have been discovered automatically with user friendly names.

Each time I restarted my server, all the names are discared.

Is there a way to save that configuration ? (with Lite or Pro)

Hi pkernevez,

yes, in Lite If you have restarted lite viewer the configurations will not be persisted. Please let us know if you are referring to server with lite agent restart.

Yes we can rename the backend and save the configuration for backend customization in Pro version and the settings will be persisted on restart as well

Hi Philippe,

Yes what i am referring is about the data, the configuration settings will be persisted for after liteviewer restart but the call stats and BTs will be perged. However in Pro the data will be persisted as well after restart.
