We are currently running Mule version 3.3.2-EE and we have AppD working well for us.  We are planning to upgrade Mule to 3.6-EE or eventually to Mule 4.0-M1 (not released)

2 questions,

1) Is Mule 3.6 EE supported and verified by AppD - any specifics would be helpful such as java agent, AppD controller version ?

2) How active is support for newwer versions of Mule ESB ?

Hi,

As per my observatiosn on internal requests and support docs we do not officially support 4.x Mule ESB version as stated in doc https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO40/Mule+ESB+Support

However we see several customers on different versions successfully monitor latest versions(given that the dependent api on which agent intercepts to instrument the framework have no changes) have successfully monitoring fine, We request you to try the agent in test environment with 4.x Mule esb version used and see how it goes, Hope that information helps.

Hi,

AD Java Agent officially (tested) supports Mule ESB 3.4 and previous releases as of now.

Though not tested in later version but it might work as well, hence suggested to check in test environment to see the behavior once. Hope that answers your query.
