Dear Tamal
Can you be a little bit more specific on "Oracle Apps". As you may know,
Oracle has a huge product portfolio and this is quite tricky to provide you
the best answer.
Which AppDynamics product do you want to use?
Which use cases would you like to address?
Which Oracle Apps?
Which version?
I can try a generic statement:
- Modern Oracle Apps (>11g) are usually based on Weblogic and SOA suite
so we can instrument that. But we again need to be specific
- Legacy Oracle Applications such as E-Business Suite (aka Oracle
Financial, Oracle Application), are sometimes mainly based on Oracle Forms
(proprietary tech) or C/C++, which are not a good fit for AppDynamics. Some
modules are web-based.
- PeopleSoft, JD EDwards or Oracle BII are not great fit but we can
cover some use cases
Hope it helps a bit
