loading map apps never finish

I am trying to use google map app. I extracted and copied on to the apps dir

then I restarted the splunk server a couple of times.

when I invoke GoogleMap, it shows loading but never finish loading

any solution/trick to this?

FYI, I've seen this occur too sometimes. And my boss just tried it, and he gets the same results. The map keeps saying it's loading, but never does.

Do you have internet access from your computer? The Google Maps API has to be downloaded from the web.
