Hi Folks,

I'm trying to pull the logs from salesforce object in splunk, so i have installed salesforce add on and configured the salesforce account and created object data input in splunk but i could not able to see any data in splunk. I do not see any error messages in the log either.

Could you please anyone help me to fix the issue.

inputs.conf

[sfdc_object://opportunity]
account = saleforctest
index = main
disabled = 0
interval = 180
object = Opportunity

salesforce and splunk.

Thanks,
Sridhar

Hi,

In your stanza, you have your account as "saleforctest".

Is this correct, should it be "salesforcetest" (with an 'e')?

Wondering if you were able to resolve this? Thanks.

You must be entering the password correctly if not Salesforce account gets locked. Contact your Salesforce admin/architect they will unlock it for you. And also try to follow below link to setup Salesforce account in Splunk.
