I have yet to get this visualization to work. I'm trying to create a relationship diagram (e.g. BoxA <-> BoxB) and creating mock data using the simplest tables cannot render the visualization. I always get this error message when I choose the JointJS visualization: "Failed to load source for JointJS Diagram visualization."
I'm on 6.4.3. What other info would help diagnose this problem?
Thanks,
John
Hi John,
Sorry I assumed Splunk 6.4 CustomViz API was the same as Splunk 6.5 but it is slightly different.
I just uploaded a breakfix (v 1.0.1).
Cheers,
Stéphane

@slapie, can you tell say what you needed to change to fix it? The goal was forward compatibility, but if there is something that didn't work out that way, it would be good to capture that for other viz authors. Thanks!
@magnew
Hi, indeed "forward compatibility".
I made the visualization using Splunk 6.5 Viz API and to fix the issue I switched to Splunk 6.4 Viz API.
Splunk 6.4 Viz API is compatible with Splunk 6.5 as expected.
Hi @jgpm - Were you able to get this to work with the new fix slapie uploaded? If yes, please don't forget to click "Accept" to close out this post. If no, please leave a comment with additional information. Thanks!
Sorry, I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I just picked a random report and it rendered quickly. Thank you!
Oops. I spoke too soon. Looks like formatting doesn't work at all. I can change options, but they don't alter the visualization and they revert back to default when I close the window.
