Why Splunk for Excel Export does not export and show full list of logs in Excel sheet?

Hii,all

i am having issue with excel export. when i am searching in splunk search head i am getting full logs. then i try to export those logs to excel,
i am getting less logs .i am not understanding what is the problem i am new to splunk..
the logs count is 149,690
the exported excel sheet contains a 65,000
i try to download in 2 sheets based on time . still i am not getting full logs in excel.. pls help me ..... it urgent requirement from client side.....
pls help me .....

As @martin_mueller mentioned, older Excel versions have a limit of ~65,000 rows; Excel 2007+ has a row limit of ~1,000,000.

Did you check the other worksheets in the .xls? Anything beyond 65000 is moved to splunk_results_2, splunk_results_3, etc.

first i tried to run 24 hours that time i am getting full logs in search head and less logs in excel imported sheet ,after i tried to run 12 hours ,that time it showing the wrong log count in splunk search head. thats why i am in dilema

I remember there was a limit in Excel to only handle 65535 rows.
