What is the meaning of perpetual license?
If I have a perpetual license, still worry about license utilization?

Splunk sells its license either as perpetual or term license. So don't need to worry about license usage.
As per docs, if you need support after one year of perpetual license then, you need to purchase an annual support renewal.

There are some terms and conditions are pointed out with every license. Not sure about full terms and condition.
