I am working on a POC to get logs from VMWare Venter, the requirement is to only pull performance metrics which is available through the API. We dont need other logs like ESXI logs for now.
To start with and to see if it is working fine, my plan is to have both the DCN and DCS on the same box (this is different from my SHs and Indexers which are in clusters on cloud).
I have already created a generic account for access to VCenter and firewall is open on 413. Can you guys please tell me if the approach is fine and tell me the next steps.
