Splunk MCP client does not connect even though curl command with username and token works

Hello,

I am using deslicer's version of splunk mcp and have gotten to the point of setting up a MCP server with tools loaded. However, I am consistently getting Splunk connection failed: Login failed. errors even though I can run a curl command from the same box that is running the MCP server.

The curl command I ran was this:

curl -k -u username:token \ https://splunk-host:8089/

I know @livehybrid you have a splunk mcp server posted and thank you for your help! Do you think you could assist please?

Thank you very much.

Hi @mangothrow

Im sorry Im not too familiar with deslicer's version of the Splunk MCP Server but if you can share your redacted configuration I can help you look into it.
