Splunk DB connection error

I have successfully created Identity for SQL database, when I was trying to make a connection between SQL database through splunk db connect I got the below error, can someone please have a look and let me know what exactly the error is?

I believe that this is not the Splunk error, hope there will be some fire wall issue on client machine.

" The TCP/IP connection to the Host and Port has Faile. Error: connect timed out. verify the connection properties. make sure that the instance of SQL server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by firewall"

Hi @niha1318,

Yes this looks like firewall issue, can you please check network connectivity from Splunk server on which DB Connect is installed and try to telnet database server with port number.
