Splunk DB Connect: Which version do I need to connect to an Oracle database on Microsoft?

I need to install ORACLE DB Connect for Splunk 6.6.3 on Microsoft. I see the .tgz file, is this correct for Microsoft. Do I have the right download? If so how do I read it, it looks like a linux tar file.

Hello there @rocky595

Thats okey mate, just go to Apps > Install apps from file > select the .tgz file.

Splunk will decompress that file and install the app.

This appeared to work, now is there a link to how to connect into an Oracle Instance?
