Splunk App for Web Analytics: Can I generate lookups while historical data is being loaded?

The doc says 'Once the data has been imported run the two lookups "Generate user sessions" and "Generate pages"'. Can I generate lookups while historical data is being loaded?

Hi hywel

It's better if the data is already in Splunk (import complete) before you run the lookups, otherwise some sessions might be missed out.
