Splunk App for Stream: Unable to locate suitable script for introspection.

Doesn't seem to run for me, using v6.1. Getting an error below:

Unable to initialize modular input "streamfwd" defined inside the app "Splunk_TA_stream": Unable to locate suitable script for introspection.

Wire doesn't seem to be an option in adding data input.

Any help appreciated, looks like an interesting app if I can get it working.

Thanks!

What OS are you running on? App for Stream currently only supports Linux 64-bit, Linux 32-bit and OSX (64-bit Intel).

I am having this issue as well. I am running 64bit FreeBSD (9.3-RELEASE #0 r268512)

I went through the troubleshooting guide and followed every step, but I can't seem to get rid of the error, or make splunk include a "Wire Data" option under Settings > Data Inputs.

my error is:
Unable to initialize modular input "streamfwd" defined inside the app "Splunk_TA_stream": Unable to locate suitable script for introspection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As specified above FreeBSD is not supported OS for the app.
