I've started getting 401 errors when connecting to Slack. The person I'm working with says that there needs to be a Splunk app installed in Slack in order to generate the proper OAuth credentials. He also said that when this was originally set up with version 2.0.2 that the authentication process 'created the app' in Slack. (I'm not sure if that's true or not)
I'm not really seeing this, and I have no access to administer our Slack instance.
Anyone have any ideas of what I might be missing here?
Thank you
Hi @gazoscreek
The docs for the app are available at https://github.com/splunk/TA-slack-add-on-for-splunk/blob/master/README.md which gives an overview / steps for setting up the Slack app and generating credentials etc.

I had the same issues. Per Slack:
It appears that the app has been delisted from the Slack Marketplace due to inaction from Splunk's development team in fixing functionality issues within their app. We did tried contacting them multiple times with no answer. To prevent more users installing the app our team has delisted them. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
It looks like Splunk has to make updates to its Slack App
