I am using SNMP modular input app and SNMP data input type is not displaying in Splunk web.
Splunk web path: Splunk >> Settings >> Data inputs

Please let me know what changes to be done to display it again in Splunk web.

I fallen into the same problem of @d12harshal with Splunk Enterprise Versione: 8.0.1 on a MS Windows10 environment

installed snmp_ta at version 1.5 and I can't find "SNMP" in Data inputs section.

I also want to add this appearing in my notification box:

Unable to initialize modular input "snmp" defined in the app "snmp_ta": Introspecting scheme=snmp: script running failed (exited with code 1)..

Thanks!

There used to be a problem whereby DB Connect would cause other Modular Inputs not to show up. Perhaps this is your issue.

You are correct DB Connect modular input is blocking SNMP to display.
When I try to upgrade DB Connect app SNMP modular input displayed in Splunk web. But DB Connect app version 1.1 and later is not supported with Splunk free and Java bridge server is not loading. When I reverted it to previous version DB Connect working normally and SNMP input is not displaying again.
