OEM SQL Monitoring Question

There might not be an easy answer to this, if any at all. I'm trying to pull in Oracle OEM SQL Monitoring information. Was wondering if anyone has done this before as I'm having a hard time finding where the OEM database stores this information. Granted, I'm not sure if it is even stored in OEM database and not a log.

Any information using Splunk with OEM would be great, but would be amazing if SQL Monitoring has been done and could help out with this!!

It is important to note that the monitoring described in the white paper is NOT a core feature of Oracle database. It requires separate licensing of the Oracle Tuning Pack for Enterprise Manager. If you use these views and you don't have a license and Oracle audits you (yes, they do that) then they can send you a BIG bill. Also worth noting is that any information in V$ views is highly volatile. A DB Connect input would have to run at the most frequent rate - once per minute - to pick up everything you wanted to see, and even then might not get everything.

I would recommend looking into Oracle STATSPACK. It's a free option that may provide the sort of information you're looking for.

I'll admit, not knowing much about Oracle's SQL Monitoring... but this white paper PDF Seems to indicate that SQL Monitoring may be implemented with a number of views: V$SQL_MONITOR and V$SQL_PLAN_MONITOR and supporting data in a few others. If that's the case, I wonder if you could use DBConnect and just pull the views as inputs and/or lookups
