Not seeing data in Splunk form REST API add-on

We have REST API add-on 1.5.3 version .We are running Splunk on version 7.1.1. .We are not seeing data for a long time and when checked the logs I found out that the activation key expired.I have updated the key with a new key which is 7 day trail one yesterday but I still don’t see any data coming
Below is the event I see in the internal logs of splunk of the machine where the add-on is installed

09-10-2019 12:07:29.045 -0400 ERROR ExecProcessor - message from "python /opt/splunk/etc/apps/rest_ta/bin/rest.py" FATAL Activation key for App 'REST API Modular Input' failed

Anything else that I need to check.
