Mixed Content Tile Requests

Goesta

Hey there,
we've got users complaining about Maps+ panels not rendering tiles.
We suspect that some network and / or browser configurations drop the responses from mixed content requests.
Chrome returns the following warning :

"Mixed Content: The page at 'https://thesplunkserver' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://c.tile.openstreetmap.org/6/36/20.png'. This content should also be served over HTTPS."

There's a version of the same tile to be found under https as well, Maps+ just doesn't ask for it. Can I force it to do so? Or would that need to be fixed in a future version of this app?
Thanks & Best Regards,
Gösta

Hi @Goesta. The issue is with the underlying tile server being overloaded and not rendering. I'd trying switching away from openstreetmap to another tile server.

Hi, so we got rid of the warning (and problem) by actually using the same server in the "Map Tile Override" option and replacing http with https. Thanks!
