We are playing around with the settings before we deploy into Prod. Found if you initially do an input with Index once option, and have your start date 30 days from now, then add your end date to your current time; allow the logs to be ingested by Splunk. Then change the input to continuously_monitor it will pick up the latest logs from the end date. The issue we are seeing is what the best settings to use for continuously_monitor. Not sure if our above approach is recommended?
