Issue with Uploading python-for-scientific-computing-for-windows-64-bit_410.tgz?

I'm trying to upload the "python-for-scientific-computing-for-windows-64-bit_410.tgz" file, but I'm encountering the following error message: "There was an error processing the upload. Error during app install: failed to extract app from C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\tmpe_xxxxx to C:\Program Files\Splunk\var\run\splunk\bundle_tmp\xxxxxxxxxxxxxx : The specified path was not found."

Has anyone else experienced a similar error while uploading this file? If so, could you please share any insights or solutions you may have?

I appreciate any assistance or guidance on this matter. Thank you.

Hello @Kazu_,

(instead of uploading the app) Have you tried extracting the app directly in etc/apps and restarting Splunk? 

Please accept that answer if that works!

Thank you for reply!

I followed the suggestion and extracted the tgz file directly into the 'etc/apps' directory and restarted Splunk.
However, after doing so, I encountered the error message 'Unable to load app list. Refresh the page to try again.'
The Apps page does display 'Python for Scientific Computing' as installed, but it is unclear if it is functioning correctly.
