Is the Splunk App for Service now compatible with Splunk Enterprise v8

We are getting ready to upgrade our deployment to v8 and need to know if the Splunk App for Service now compatible with Splunk Enterprise v8. The page on splunkbase doesnt list v8, but it also hasnt been updated since 2016.

Splunk 8 is still compatible with Python 2 version, so I believe it will work. I did not deployed Snow app on version 8 yet, so my suggestion is to run an upgrade on a Splunk Enterprise sandbox/development environment for testing the app behaviour. If the results are as expected, then go for migration to version 8 at production.
