Is it possible to create a complicated dashboard using Rest api POST with an existing XML file?

We have two splunk websites and I'm trying to copy dashboards from one website to another using rest api.

GET works well. But I find when I try to POST eai:data there will be different kinds of errors. Rest api documentation is very easy case. Hope I can see more complex cases.

Are you looking toinvoke this work locally or remotely froom the search head? IIRC, the “set” class of rest endpoints cannot be perdormed remotely, by default at least.
