I have splunk enterprise and I want to get system performance, server performance, log, audit, and status Disk usage etc of IIS server which is deployed on AWS.
Now I have splunk addon and app both already configured which will give the performance information (like mentioned above ) of its individual ec2 instances so it will give the information of the window IIS SERVER also(if i am wrong please correct me).
So do I need to install forwarder ?

Hi anshuman19,
let me understand: you have on AWS a MS-IIS to monitor and you installed App and TAs on you Splunk Enterprise, is it correct?

If this is your situation, You have to install Splunk Add-on for Microsoft IIS on the server where IIS is installed.
See installation docs on http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/AddOns/released/MSIIS/Install

Bye.
