How do I install Python for Scientific Computing (for Linux 64-bit) for the Machine Learning Toolkit on Splunk Cloud?

What are the installation instructions for Python for Scientific Computing (for Linux 64-bit) ["Splunk_SA_Scientific_Python_linux_x86_64"] for the Machine Learning Toolkit on Splunk Cloud?

Even I want to know how to enable the app Python for Scientific Computing. I've installed it on my search head but dashboards show no data and while i click on the Settings page I get the following error-
"ServerSideInclude Module Error!

Splunk has failed to locate the template for uri '/APP/Splunk_SA_Scientific_Python_linux_x86_64/appserver/static/settings.html'."

Not sure what needs to be done here. I want to integrate the Numpy with SPlunk to do a Fourier Analysis on the data.
Any pointers?

Please check your Manage app settings to check if PSC has been installed successfully or not

Have you installed Splunk ML Toolkit? Try our new release :

Hi Grana,

Yes i have installed ML Toolkit as well but I'm still missing the steps needed in order to get this running.
My basic need is to do fourier analysis on a set of data using Numpy for which I had installed the Python for Scientific Computing add on.

Under Manage app settings, it says app installed successfully but no other information/.

Can anyone help on this.

Are you using a Free trial Cloud version of Splunk? If yes, then do the following

1. Login to Splunk and go to Manage Apps
2. Click on Browse more apps
3. Search for "Machine Learning"
4. On the right hand side you will see the "Python for Scientific computing"
5. Click on Install
6. Once done it will ask to restart the splunk
7. After restarting , repeat the step 1 to 6 for installing MLTK App

You need to open a ticket with support and request that it's installed for you. Once that's done, they will install it and it will be usable for you.
