I recently migrated from Splunk DB Connect App 1 to version 2. To my surprise, I am unable to access Composite based DBs now as Splunk has removed the support for the same.
Please let me know a workaround for the same!!!
I assume you mean this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Composite_Software
Is the JDBC driver that you're using loading?

In dbx Version 1 , we had mentioned the following stanza in database_types.conf
[Composite]
displayName = Composite
jdbcDriverClass = cs.jdbc.driver.CompositeDriver
connectionUrlFormat = jdbc:compositesw:dbapi@{0}:{1}?domain=ldap&dataSource={2}&unsupportedMode=silent
validationDisabled=true
streamingFetchSize = 100
streamingAutoCommit = false
An exception occurred while migrating connection from /servicesNS/nobody/dbx/configs/conf-database/Enterprise: Composite is no longer supported by DB Connect 2 :
I get to see this error Composite is no longer supported by DB Connect 2
Will the same work if I replicate this stanza in splunk_app_db_connect version 2 as the migration script says it wont be supported as stated above. Please comment.
I had also replicatedall the jar files from dbx1 lib to v2 lib.
Your inputs on the above query would be helpful @jcoates
